Mojaris are not new to our tradition and culture. It’s been a trending foot wear for years now. The fact behind this never going out of fashion Shoe Wear lies in its Beauty and Comfort, two most important and critical pre-requisite for a foot wear. They are made using leather and cotton threads, which is ecofriendly and also strengthens the leather. They have been a part of the Royal tradition in all of Indian geography. The motifs and design may differ from State to State. “Jutti” is an Urdu word for a shoe with a closed upper attached to a sole. Panna: The shoe upper part is known as Panna and is made of one piece of leather or textile,embroidered and embellished with brass nails, shells, mirrors, bells, beadsetc Adda: the bonding from the upper and back is known as Adda Talla: the sole is known as Talla. Done by cotton thread which is eco-friendly and also enmeshes the leather fibers with great strength At PakkeDhagge, we bring some exquisite hand designed Juttis made by the finest craftsmen. We would like to maintain the old school tradition with the new high street fashion. We take great pride in everything we put out on our shelves. A stride taken by Sonia Walia with huge amount of passion and fashionable vision. This setup was an outcome of a family marriage that we attended & while designing for the bride trousseau, the most difficult part was to pair the dresses with shoes. We tried the prettiest of stilettos, wedges & flip flops but found the best pairing with Juttis. They are just a perfect match with the Indian wear. We had some of the most beautiful Juttis paired with the dresses &Now want to share this magic with the world ….
